Pre-configuration
- Enable time sheets in MYOB. Go to Setup > Preference > Tick Enable Time sheets > Set the weekday that your pay period starts.
- You will need to make sure Employee Names & Birthdays in Aussie Time Sheets and MYOB match exactly.
- If you have any duplicate archived employees in MYOB, you will need to make sure their names are different. We recommend putting suffixing (Inactive) in their last name field.
- Make sure STANDARD PAY IS SET TO ZERO:
To find these settings go to:
CARD INFORMATION -> Select Employee-> Payroll Details -> Standard Pay.
Set the hours to 0 (The dollar figure doesn’t need to change)
This stops the pay run from adding Standard hours + Timesheet hours.
Matching Pay/Leave Codes
Make sure Pay codes and Leave Codes match with MYOB’s Pay Categories.
1. In MYOB find your Pay Categories, find your calculated base, and overtime categories.
2. Copy its name and paste it into the corresponding code in ATS Premier.
3. This is found in ATS Premier by going to Shift Setup Setup > Pay codes (if leave select Leave Codes) > Click the Pay code > Paste the MYOB Pay Category name into the ATS Payroll Code Field.
This will need to be done for all Calculated and Leave codes. Please contact support if you need assistance.
Pushing to PaySync and MYOB
- In ATS click Payroll.
- Select the Employees (If this is your first test run select only a few employees as you cannot bulk delete time sheets in MYOB.)
- Click Show Data
- Once you see the times, tick "Select Timesheets", tick "Select Leave".
- Click Export.
- You will get 2 emails to your email account associated with PaySync. The first will be confirming PaySync has retrieved, the second will confirm if the times have gone to MYOB successfully or unsuccessfully.
- If successfully you can find time sheets in MYOB by going to Payroll > Enter Time sheets.
If your email was unsuccessful, please contact support and let them know the error you got in the email.
You will then be able to run your pay run in MYOB like usual. But it will refer the timesheet hours instead of weekly hours.
